“Google has warned web users of the increasing threat posed by malware that can be dropped onto a computer as a web surfer visits a particular site.” Many of the owners of these infected sites are completely unaware that their website has been infected and many of the visitors are equally unaware that their computer became infected too.
What you can do: be sure you have a firewall installed and up to date. Get a copy of SpyBot Search and Destroy or other bot and adware sniffer and use it to sniff out any adware programs on your pc.
